Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies

1/2 Cup Shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup pecan or walnuts
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 cup cocoa
1 bag large marshmallows
Combine all ingredients except marshmallows.
Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Cut marshmallows in half and place 1/2 on each cookie.
Bake with mallow on it for 2 more minutes.
Let cool and then frost.
Frosting
6 T butter
3 cups powdered sugar
6 T milk
5 T Cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
Cream butter and add powdered sugar and milk a little bit at a time until thick and creamy.
Then add cocoa and vanilla.
Frost top of cookies.
